Amazon Office Building in Downtown Seattle gets new Canopies and we helped!

June 19th, 2018 | Blog

When John Alexander from Evergreen House contacted us about helping them with a project for Amazon in downtown Seattle, we jumped at the opportunity. They were making a new set of large Colored Glass Canopies at the Yale & Thomas portion of the Amazon Downtown Campus. We were tasked with flood coating 23 large glass panels, with 3 different colors of Solyx See-Through Transparent colored Film (the colors are Glolden Yellow, Orange and Yellow). The largest panels are approximately 110″ tall x 51″ wide. Since we were flood coating these panels with a transparent film, we had to take great care with cleaning and applying these so no particulates would be trapped between the film and glass. I think they came out beautiful!

Here are some vans we did in the last few days

February 5th, 2018 | Blog

We use only the best 3M vinyl for our jobs. In some instances we use manufactured colors like on the “Sherpa Roofing” Van. Cardinal Red and Black vinyls did the trick for them. But on other vehicles we print on 3M IJ180mC wrap vinyl. The added 3M 8519 Luster Over Laminate gives it just the right amount shine and protection from the weather to make it last for our customers.

Large Compass Stencil for Flooring Solutions

February 21st, 2017 | Blog

We were recently hired by a flooring company to make a 16′ x 16′ stencil for a compass and install it in a downtown Seattle building. The reversed out image was then died with a 50% black ink into the floor and the stencil was removed. We used 3M IJ35-10 vinyl to cut the stencil out of. It has great adhesion to smooth floors, so you can trust the ink wont bleed around the cut edges.

Bright Orange Mini Paceman Stripes from design to finished product

August 16th, 2016 | Blog

We had a customer contact us about putting some stripes on her new Mini Paceman. She also wanted us to match the color of her very Bright Orange mirror caps. After some research we found a 3M Bright Orange vinyl that matched perfectly. The customer thought mock-ups looked great, but we think the finished product looked better.

Full Wrap for Aces Four – From Dark Grey to Soft Red

January 25th, 2016 | Blog

Rick from Aces Four Sewer and Drainage gave us a call and wanted us to wrap his new dark grey Transit Van. He wanted it red, so that’s what he got. We used Avery Supreme “Soft Red” Wrap Film for the base and then added the rest of the graphics over the top of the original wrap. We chose not to print the red with the graphics for 2 reasons. First, the Supreme Wrap film will keep its color longer since it is a manufactured color instead of a printed color. Manufactured colors are not just a top coating of ink, they are the color all the way through the film. Which means that the UV absorption will do less damage and make the color keep true for a longer period of time. The second reason is if Rick decides to change a phone number or some of his services, we can change those out without having to re-do an entire red section saving him money over the long run.

Victor Glass gets new wrap

January 7th, 2016 | Blog

Shane from Victor Glass contacted us to design a wrap for his new Ford Transit Connect a couple weeks ago. Since the body of this vehicle is white, we incorporated it into the design to save Shane some money. The blue gradient fades out to white towards the front. The wrapped portion starts behind the drivers and passenger front doors and extends across the back. That way we are only manufacturing and installing on half of the vehicle. Monetarily that makes a big difference to Shane’s bottom line. We use red cut vinyl for the lettering that extends up front. By putting the red lettering forward and incorporating the white fade, the entire vehicle looks like it has been wrapped.
